Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing menus and answering any initial questions.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are noted.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining a high standard of presentation.
- Assist guests with menu selections, including upselling specials and promotions to enhance their dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring all payments are processed correctly.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Follow all safety and sanitation protocols in accordance with health regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a nightclub or restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of cash handling procedures and basic math skills for processing payments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Familiarity with culinary terminology is advantageous but not required.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
