As a CDL A Regional Truck Driver, you'll run established regional routes while returning home weekly through our Fort Atkinson, WI terminal. CDL A Regional Truck Driver Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer on regional routes
- Deliver freight safely and on schedule while following DOT regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate ELD logs and required documentation
- Communicate with dispatch regarding deliveries, delays, and route updates
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Represent Fortrans professionally with customers and the public
CDL A Regional Truck Driver Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable Regional or OTR driving experience
- Clean driving record with no disqualifying violations
- Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
- Must be able to commute to the Fort Atkinson, WI terminal weekly
- Working knowledge of DOT regulations, Hours of Service, and ELD systems
- Strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service
