Job Overview
Golden High School is looking for an Assistant Girl's Basketball Coach to lead our C Team and assist with the program as a whole. Willingness to assist with youth programs desired.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing basketball practices, drills, and game strategies to enhance player skills and teamwork.
- Support the head coach in managing team logistics, including equipment setup and game-day preparations.
- Promote sportsmanship, discipline, and positive behavior among student-athletes through effective behavior management techniques.
- Foster a safe environment by ensuring proper safety protocols are followed during practices and games.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school staff regarding team progress and upcoming events.
Experience
- Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education is highly desirable.
- Strong behavior management skills are essential to foster a respectful and disciplined team atmosphere.
- Experience with youth basketball organizations preferred.
Pay: $2,500.00 per year
