Extensive Driving Required
In this position you will drive between 60 and 100 miles per day to show the properties that HMR manages. You will meet potential tenants at different properties to give tours of our vacant units. Our properties are spread through out the Inland Empire.

Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the property management operations by assisting with leasing, tenant relations, administrative tasks, and property maintenance coordination. Your energetic approach and excellent communication skills will help ensure smooth property operations and exceptional client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing lease or rental agreements, ensuring all documentation complies with legal and company standards
- Support property leasing activities by engaging with prospective tenants and upselling available units
- Coordinate property maintenance requests and oversee facilities management to maintain high standards of property condition
- Utilize property management tools such as Yardi and OneSite for data entry, reporting, and client communication
- Handle conflict management situations professionally, ensuring fair housing regulations are upheld
- Maintain accurate filing systems and perform administrative tasks including phone etiquette, filing, and data entry
- Support budgeting processes and financial reporting related to property operations
Experience
- Must have experience with Property Management Software. AppFolio prefeered.
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles, ideally within a property management company environment
- Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar tools
- Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and Section 8 programs
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with tenants, clients, and team members
- Experience in conflict resolution, negotiation, contracts management, and lease administration
- Office experience demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and customer relationship management systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail

Pay: $24.50 - $28.00 per hour
