The Cooperage American Grille is a vibrant, high-volume restaurant in the heart of downtown Walnut Creek known for warm hospitality, craveable food, and memorable guest experiences.
Position Overview
We are looking for friendly, hard-working Runners to join our team. As a runner, you play a key role in creating a smooth guest experience by supporting the front-of-house team. You’ll help deliver food to guests, assist servers and the BOH team, and make sure our dining rooms run seamlessly. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and being part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a warm, helpful attitude when interacting at the table.
- Assist servers with food running and guest needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, server stations, and restrooms.
- Work as a team to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience a plus, but not required — we’ll train the right person.
- Strong work ethic and ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
- Excellent communication skills and a guest-first mindset.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $16.90 - $18.00 per hour
