Do you love making an impact in the lives of school-aged children? How about working in a high-energy environment, staying organized, and keeping things moving?
Do the hours of 3:00-7:00 M-Th and 2:00-6:30 on Fridays work for you?
Help lead our small, high-energy after-school program while creating a welcoming, organized experience for our martial arts families. You’ll work directly with kids, parents, and our team to help each day run smoothly and make families feel confident, cared for, and excited to be part of our academy!
The right person will be able to start in July while we're having summer camp, for paid training, and continue during the school year.
This is a meaningful, active, hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys working with children and families, can stay organized in a busy environment, and takes pride in making sure each day runs smoothly.
This is not a “sit behind a desk” job. You’ll be greeting families, supporting coaches, helping students, communicating with parents, giving tours, managing daily details, and making sure our program feels safe, positive, professional, and welcoming every single day.
What You’ll Do:
As our youth programs coordinator, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe, structured, fun, and high-energy environment for our students and families.
Responsibilities include:
- Picking up students from their elementary schools in our vehicles and safely transporting them to our campus
- Making sure daily schedules are followed
- Ensuring students are properly signed out at pickup
- Supporting coaches and filling in when needed
- Helping maintain a clean, organized, “tour-ready” facility
- Greeting new students and parents with warmth and professionalism
- Building positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
- Communicating with parents about injuries, behavior concerns, or important updates
- Helping enforce student and staff expectations when needed
- Giving tours to prospective families
- Answering the phone and educating prospects about our programs
- Implementing our trial and new student onboarding system
- Processing new student registrations and event registrations
- Taking orders and payments
- Keeping equipment, crafts, and cleaning supplies stocked
- Placing orders for gear, supplies, and other program needs
- Updating social media twice per day with positive program highlights
