Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Clear and reset tables quickly to maintain a smooth flow of service during busy hours.
- Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff.
- Support the serving team by bussing tables, refilling supplies, and ensuring a clean dining environment.
- Follow proper manual handling techniques to lift heavy items safely and prevent injuries.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing area, including cleaning sinks, counters, and storage spaces.
- Adhere to food safety management standards to ensure all hygiene protocols are met consistently.
Skills
- Experience in restaurant settings with knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during cleaning or moving supplies.
- Strong understanding of food handling, dishwashing techniques, and basic kitchen operations.
- Excellent teamwork skills with experience supporting food service or catering environments.
