Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions including sales, returns, and exchanges
- Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure products are stocked neatly on shelves
- Handle stockroom organization to keep the store well-stocked and inviting
- Demonstrate etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Support cashiering duties with accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Promote store promotions and upselling techniques to maximize sales potential
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of retail merchandising is preferred
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory counts
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Experience with stocking and merchandising is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products effectively to meet sales goals
