L&C ELECTRIC is growing and we're looking for a Senior Electrical Estimator with strong experience in both commercial and residential projects.
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized professional who can manage full estimates, handle permitting processes, and communicate effectively with all project stakeholders.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate, detailed estimates, including full material takeoffs and unit pricing.
- Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to determine scope of work.
- Use Bluebeam and other digital tools for takeoffs and plan markups.
- Complete and submit SUBCODE forms and electrical permit applications.
- Prepare and submit Load Sheets to utility companies (e.g., PSE&G, ConEd).
- Coordinate with general contractors, engineers, and internal teams for clarifications and scope adjustments.
- Visit project sites when necessary to verify conditions and validate estimates.
- Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical estimating.
- Strong knowledge of low and medium voltage electrical systems.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, Excel, and estimating software.
- Proven ability to generate detailed material lists and cost breakdowns.
- Familiarity with permitting processes and utility coordination.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Spanish-speaking is a plus.
