Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Concrete Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of concrete-related tasks that are essential to building durable, high-quality structures. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Duties
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute concrete forms, rebar installation, and finishing details.
- Construct formwork and molds for concrete pouring, ensuring proper alignment, stability, and adherence to specifications.
- Operate concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently during various phases of construction.
- Install rebar and metal studs according to blueprint specifications to reinforce concrete structures.
- Pour, spread, level, and finish concrete surfaces with precision using hand tools and trowels for a smooth finish.
- Cut and shape concrete using specialized tools such as saws or grinders; perform concrete cutting as needed for renovation or restoration projects.
- Maintain strict adherence to construction workplace safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe environment for all team members.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working on construction projects with a focus on concrete work, carpentry, or masonry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools, equipment operation, and concrete mixing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately.
- Knowledge of construction estimating procedures is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with construction safety regulations and best practices in a busy worksite environment.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting techniques, and heavy equipment operation safely.
- Experience with rebar installation, formwork construction, concrete pouring, finishing techniques including plastering or stucco work is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform precise measurements and interpret blueprint specifications effectively.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working at heights or in confined spaces when necessary.

Pay: $25.00 - $33.78 per hour
