We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Night Janitor Supervisor to lead our overnight cleaning team. In this vital role, you will oversee the cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of our facilities during nighttime hours. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the nightly cleaning activities performed by custodial staff, ensuring tasks are completed thoroughly and on schedule
- Lead team members in industrial and commercial cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation
- Oversee specialized cleaning procedures such as laundry services and deep-cleaning projects to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Enforce safety regulations and proper use of cleaning equipment to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to monitor cleanliness levels, identify maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with health standards
- Train new staff on janitorial procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to maintain operational readiness
- Fill in for janitorial staff when needed
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in custodial or janitorial roles within industrial, commercial, hotel, or hospitality settings
- Extensive janitorial experience with a strong background in industrial cleaning techniques and safety regulations
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with laundry operations and housekeeper management is preferred
- Previous experience overseeing custodial staff in commercial, hotel or hospitality environments is a plus
- Strong knowledge of safety standards related to cleaning chemicals, equipment use, and workplace safety practices
- Spanish speaking is a plus
