We are seeking a dedicated Meat Department Associate to join our team. Duties
- Prepare meat products through cutting, trimming, and portioning using basic knife skills.
- Assist in the daily setup and organization of the meat department to ensure product freshness and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness by performing night-time cleaning of equipment, workstations, and storage areas in compliance with safety standards.
- Follow safety protocols during meat handling and cleaning procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support team members in inventory management and restocking as needed.
- Provide friendly assistance to customers seeking meat products or information about selections.
Qualifications
- Basic knife skills required for meat preparation.
- Ability to perform night-time cleaning duties efficiently and thoroughly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Prior experience in a meat department or similar food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
