In Home Caregiver
Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. As a Caregiver your primary focus will be enhancing the quality of life for clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This Caregiver position is ideal for those who are passionate about providing care to individuals with diverse needs, including memory care, long-term care and hospice. Caregiver positions will be individual homes of clients. Bright Star provides care throughout the Midlands of Columbia.
Pay Rate: $14.00-$16.00
Looking for Full Time caregivers
Caregiver Duties:
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance residents' well-being.
- Implement care plans tailored to each resident's unique needs and preferences.
- Monitor residents' health and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff or family members.
- Ensure that resident rights are upheld at all times, creating a respectful and dignified environment.
- Assist with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring residents safely when required.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for all residents
Caregiver Must Have:
- Previous experience in home caregiving, assisted living, or long-term care settings is mandatory.
- Driver's License
- Own a vehicle and have up to date auto insurance.
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
Preferred Caregiver Requirements
- Knowledge of memory care practices is a plus.
- Strong understanding of resident rights and the importance of dignity in caregiving.
- Ability to assist with physical tasks such as lifting or transferring residents safely.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential for this role.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
