US Carriers LLC is seeking a Transport Associate to join our growing team!
We are looking for a Part-Time CDL A truck drivers who will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of RVs and other inventory to our customers. You will be tasked with driving and maintaining trucks that will be assigned to you, as well as working closely with our team of dispatchers in order to plan routes and track deliveries. We mainly transport RVS and Cars. RV transport experience is a MUST.
A Class A CDL driver license is required. Successful candidates must have a clean driving record and pass a background check.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow safety standards at all times.
- Deliver inventory to customers or store to store.
- Deliver and pick up inventory from Auction locations.
- Customer service with Payments while on site.
- Level and set up RVs for customers
- Load and unload inventory.
- Record deliveries.
- Refuel and clean vehicle.
- Report road incidents to the dispatcher.
- Follow traffic laws.
- Inspect trucks and record issues.
- Follow accident procedures.
- Keep a driving log and log hours.
- Report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel.
- Plan routes using a GPS system.
- Get inventory to the customer or dealership on time.
- Maintain a positive attitude with customers.
- Keep driver's license up to date.
- All other duties as assigned.
Experience Required:
- Class A CDL or commercial driver license
- 8 years of CDL A driving experience
- Must undergo and pass a background check.
- Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
- High school diploma.
