Job Summary
Covid Audio Visual, a Tempe based manufacturer of professional audio-visual connectivity products serving customers throughout the United States and international markets, is seeking a Finance & Operations Supervisor for a unique opportunity to work directly alongside our Executive Management Team to gain hands-on exposure to both the financial and operational sides of our business.
The person we hire will become involved in the day-to-day operation of the company, working across accounting, purchasing, inventory, production, warehouse operations, sales analysis, and management reporting.
Our goal is to find someone with a strong financial and analytical foundation who wants to learn how our entire business operates and gradually take on greater responsibility.

Duties
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and analysis
- Develop and maintain management reports, KPIs, and dashboards
- Analyze sales, gross margins, expenses, inventory, and operating performance
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow planning
- Review financial and operational results to identify trends, problems, and opportunities
- Work with accounting to improve reporting accuracy and financial processes
- Analyze inventory levels, purchasing activity, costing, and inventory turns
- Work with purchasing, production, and warehouse personnel to identify operational improvements
- Help develop and document company processes and internal controls
- Assist with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central reporting and process improvements
- Help coordinate projects that involve multiple departments
- Research issues, develop recommendations, and help implement solutions
- Take increasing ownership of financial and operational responsibilities as knowledge of the company develops
- Assist the President with special projects and business initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Approximately 3–7 years of progressive accounting, finance or business operations experience
- Strong understanding of financial statements and basic accounting principles
- Strong Excel and data-analysis skills
- Experience working with an ERP system; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience is a plus
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, inventory, or another product-based business is highly desirable
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of an organization
- Ability to manage multiple projects and follow through to completion
- Desire to grow into a broader leadership and management position
