Duties
- Safely operate various warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and barcode scanners to pick, pack, load, and unload goods.
- Execute order picking with precision using RF scanners and barcode scanning systems to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, organizing materials, and conducting regular stock checks using inventory management systems.
- Prepare orders for shipment by packing items securely and verifying order accuracy through quality control procedures.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including loading trucks and documenting inbound/outbound shipments in warehouse management systems.
- Follow safety protocols diligently by using personal protective equipment (PPE), manual handling techniques, and heavy equipment operation standards.
- Support warehouse distribution operations by maintaining a clean workspace, organizing materials efficiently, and adhering to safety guidelines at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, barcode scanning for logistics, and inventory management systems.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and packing with attention to safety procedures.
- Strong organizational skills with experience in order picking, stocking, shipping & receiving, and quality control processes.
- Basic math skills for inventory counts and order calculations.
- Prior warehouse experience or warehouse supervisor experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent adherence to safety protocols and PPE use in a fast-paced environment.
