The Education Coordinator / Clinical Educator functions as a clinical and content expert responsible for assessing hospital-wide educational needs and developing, implementing, and facilitating education programs for nursing staff and patient care team members.
- Promote quality, safe, and cost-effective patient care across the organization.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership, management, and physicians to identify education needs.
- Develop and deliver continuing education programs and staff in-services.
- Lead skills fairs, orientations, and annual training initiatives.
- Assist with competency development and evaluation.
- Support AHA Training Center and student orientation programs.
- BSN required
- Active Arkansas RN License
- 5 years acute care nursing experience
- Adult education experience
- Current AHA BLS & ACLS, TNCC
- AHA Instructor status
- MSN
- Charge Nurse experience
- AHA PALS
- Experience with Meditech PCS, CareLearning, CareSkills, Paycom
