Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic In-Store Cleaner to maintain a pristine, welcoming environment for our customers and staff. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of sales floors, restrooms, break areas, and storage spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors to ensure they are spotless and safe for foot traffic
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, display cases, shelves, and fixtures to enhance store presentation
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sanitizing high-touch surfaces, and restocking supplies
- Assist with light maintenance duties including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to management
- Support in deep cleaning projects such as carpet cleaning or floor stripping as scheduled
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial services, or facilities maintenance is highly preferred
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques including floor care (buffing, stripping) and industrial cleaning practices
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Reliable team player with good communication skills and a positive work ethic
