Edwin is building the modern financial operating system for local governments. Cities, counties, and special districts manage trillions of dollars using fragmented bank portals, legacy systems, and manual spreadsheets. We are replacing that infrastructure with an AI-powered platform that integrates banking, investing, spend management, and automated workflows into a single source of truth.
Backed by top-tier institutional VCs, we are live with initial clients across the country. Local governments are underserved by every major financial platform. We are building the infrastructure they have never had.
We are hiring a Full-Stack Engineer to join us onsite in Santa Monica, working closely with our CTO and founding engineer. You will own major product areas end to end, ship features that hit real production workflows, and help set the engineering practices that a growing team will build on.
This is a senior individual contributor role. You will work across the full stack with autonomy, take features from design through release, and contribute to the architecture and quality decisions that shape the platform. It is a high-ownership seat for an engineer who wants to build software that moves real money for cities and communities.
Build and ship full-stack product features across React, TypeScript, Node, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
Own major slices of the product end to end, from design and implementation through testing, release, and iteration.
Design and maintain reliable, secure data pipelines for banks, pooled funds, and ERPs.
Work directly with our pilot customers to refine UX and close workflow gaps in production.
Help establish engineering best practices, architecture patterns, and code quality norms.
Partner with the engineering team on infrastructure, security, logging, and SOC 2 foundations.
Around 4 to 7 years of experience shipping production software, with strong full-stack range.
Deep strength across frontend (React, TypeScript) and backend (Node, PostgreSQL, AWS).
Designed APIs, data models, and modular component systems for real products.
Owned features end to end with minimal oversight and a high bar for reliability.
Thrived working in person with a small, fast-moving team and a tight feedback loop.
Motivation to build software that moves real money and matters for cities and communities.
Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Experience with cloud infrastructure and secure data handling.
Exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted workflows.
Fintech or banking integration experience.
Worked with secure ingestion pipelines, ETL systems, or regulated, compliance-heavy products.
Base salary: $180,000 to $210,000 depending on experience.
Equity: early-stage grant offered day 1.
Health, dental, vision. 100% employee covered.
The ability to build a polished product without legacy constraints.
A mission with real-world impact on how governments operate.
