About the Role:
Bach to Rock (B2R) in Mount Pleasant, SC is looking for a passionate and talented Music Teacher to inspire the next generation of musicians! Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, one-on-one and group music lessons tailored to students' skill levels and musical goals
- Instruct students in one or more instruments such as guitar, piano, drums, voice, strings or other disciplines
- Track and assess student progress, adjusting lesson plans to ensure continued development
- Prepare students for recitals, performances, and music theory milestones
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and structured learning environment
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress
- Collaborate with fellow instructors and school staff to support school-wide events and programs
Requirements:
- Proficiency in at least one instrument or vocal performance
- Prior teaching, tutoring, or music instruction experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of music theory and fundamentals
- Ability to teach students of varying ages, from young children to adults
- Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Music degree or equivalent professional experience is a plus
