ABOUT THE ROLE
Elevate Fitness Rehab, a multi-service physical therapy, personal training, and wellness practice in Orem, UT, is hiring a Practice Manager to own the business side of the clinic bookkeeping, financial oversight, and day-to-day operations. The owner is a full-time treating PT and needs a true operational partner, not an assistant.
This is not a "wait to be told what to do" role. We need someone who finds a gap and either fixes it or brings a solution, not just a flag.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Bookkeeping & Financials
- Full ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping in QuickBooks (or a system you help us upgrade to)
- Payroll oversight and reconciliation, including correct handling of employer payroll taxes
- Monthly financial reporting and department-level breakdowns
- Flagging spending or revenue trends before they become bigger problems
- Point-of-service collections tracking
Operations Management
- Running the front office, scheduling, staff coverage, client flow
- Managing vendor relationships and contracts
- Overseeing facility, access, and security logistics
- Supporting hiring, onboarding, and basic HR administration
- Building out operational documentation (policies, handbook, procedures) as we grow
Problem-Solving
- Identifying issues independently and bringing solutions, not just problems
- Comfortable being a strategic thought partner, translating high-level priorities into action without needing every step spelled out
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience running bookkeeping/accounting for a small business, ideally $1M-$5M in revenue, ideally in healthcare, wellness, fitness, or another multi-service setting
- Comfortable owning QuickBooks end-to-end, including payroll taxes , or ready to help us select and implement a better system
- Experience beyond bookkeeping: office management, HR-adjacent work, vendor management, or general small-business operations
- A self-starter who notices things and fixes them
- Clear, proactive communicator, the owner needs visibility without having to chase it down
- Bonus: experience helping a practice go from informally run to structured and professional
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
$55,000-$65,000 base, depending on experience, with room to grow as this role takes on more of the practice's financial turnaround work. This role may begin part-time with a defined path to full-time based on impact, happy to discuss specifics in an interview.
