Position Overview
The Bitcoin Mining Technician is responsible for supporting day-to-day technical operations at our mining facility. This role includes maintaining ASIC miners, optimizing equipment performance, monitoring power and networking systems, and assisting with new deployments. You’ll work under the direction of the Site Manager to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
· Perform daily inspections, diagnostics, and maintenance on ASIC miners (including Bitmain S19 and S21 series)
· Monitor miners, PDUs, electrical loads, networking equipment, and environmental systems for stable operations
· Troubleshoot and resolve miner faults, cabling issues, airflow/cooling concerns, and power irregularities
· Assist with installation, racking, wiring, and configuration of new equipment and infrastructure expansions
· Maintain accurate records of repairs, miner statuses, serial numbers, and component inventory
· Support preventive maintenance programs and ensure a clean, organized, and safe facility
· Coordinate with Site Manager and operations leadership to reduce downtime and increase efficiency
· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for workflow, documentation, and site reliability
Qualifications
Required:
· Hands-on mechanical or technical repair experience (data center, electrical, HVAC, IT, industrial, telecom, or similar background welcomed)
· Ability to safely use hand tools, troubleshoot equipment, and follow operational procedures
· Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently
· Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in warm/noisy industrial environments
Preferred:
· Experience with ASIC Bitcoin miners, mining operations, or data centers
· Familiarity with mining pools and firmware
· Basic understanding of IP networking (static addresses, switches, VLANs a plus)
· Previous experience working in industrial or field service environments
· Forklift certified
