Queen Park Social is a premier entertainment venue located in Lower South End. We offer bowling, arcade games, and a lounge with VIP tables, a DJ, and state of the art lighting and sound systems. We strive to be a one stop destination to eat, drink, and play.
We are currently looking to add strong, self-sufficient bartenders to our growing team as we move into our busier event season. Queen Park Social is a great place to build skills in all aspects of the service industry so for those who are serious about advancing their careers, this is the place to do it.
Responsibilities include:

Familiarizing yourself with our changing food and beverage menus
- Being familiar with and able to make commonly known drinks (LIT, old fashioned, lemon drop, etc.), as well as being able to learn new drinks as our menus change.
- Greeting guests at the bar and taking food and drink orders. A good understanding of different drink/cocktails for recommendations is appreciated.
- Providing guests with top-notch customer service. The better you are at talking the better you will be at serving, anyone can learn a menu but not everyone can make an experience memorable. Be able to assess customer needs and preferences and make recommendations based on customer feedback.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies. A full bar is an attractive bar and an attractive bar is a busy bar. We expect our bartenders to take pride in their space and keep things clean and organized.
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations, this includes checking customer's identification to confirm they meet legal drinking age.
The ideal candidate has:

Has the ability to listen and communicate effectively. We will answer any question you have to best of our ability but we can't help if we don't know. No question is a dumb question.
- 2 years of bartending experience is preferred. Any prior event serving/management experience will be very helpful. We are open to inexperienced applicants with a willingness to learn and grow within the company. We do large events upwards of 500+ people and need bartenders who can keep up with that high demand.
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks. The faster and fancier you can make drinks the more money you can make.
- Has strong organizational skills. We have a large building and we strive to keep everything as organized as possible so as to make things easier on our staff and to ensure our customers get the best service in neat and timely fashion.
- Is able to multitask efficiently. There are a lot of moving parts to this business with us having a kitchen, a bar, a bowling lounge, and an arcade.
- Is punctual and reliable. If you can show up on time you will make more money than everyone who is late. Management will also think you're pretty cool.
- Knowledge of a second language will be considered a plus.
