Electrical Project Manager / Estimator
Location: Winter Garden, FL
Pay: $75,000 - $105,000 per year (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: First Shift | Monday–Friday

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager / Estimator to join our growing team. This is a split-role position responsible for both estimating and managing commercial and residential electrical construction projects from pre-construction through project completion.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical estimating, project management, budgeting, scheduling, and customer relations. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, subcontractors, field personnel, and company leadership throughout every phase of the project lifecycle.
ResponsibilitiesEstimating
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial and residential electrical projects.
- Review blueprints, specifications, and bid documents.
- Perform quantity takeoffs for labor, materials, and equipment.
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
- Identify value engineering opportunities and project risks.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and job walks as needed.
- Submit bids and proposals by required deadlines.
- Maintain estimating records and historical cost data.
- Collaborate with leadership during bid reviews and project handoffs.
- Experience with the EBM Estimating Platform is highly preferred.
Project Management
- Manage multiple electrical projects from award through closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules.
- Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Monitor budgets, labor productivity, job costs, and profitability.
- Review contracts, specifications, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with general contractors, builders, inspectors, suppliers, and field teams.
- Prepare RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation.
- Schedule inspections and ensure code compliance.
- Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor safety, quality, and progress.
- Resolve project issues to minimize delays and cost impacts.
- Oversee project closeout, punch lists, warranty items, and final documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical estimating, project management, or a combination of both.
- Experience managing commercial and residential electrical construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- Experience preparing estimates, bids, budgets, and project schedules.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with EBM Estimating Platform is a strong plus.
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Viewpoint, ServiceTitan, or similar construction software is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Certifications
- Journeyman or Master Electrician License
- OSHA 30 Certification
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel between office locations and active jobsites.
- Ability to walk construction sites, climb ladders, and navigate uneven terrain.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in both office and outdoor environments.
