Job Summary
The Technical Support Technician is responsible for providing technical assistance to students, faculty, and staff in resolving issues related to computer equipment, software, hardware, and basic networks. Additionally, the Technician will be responsible for maintaining and configuring peripherals and printers, as well as providing classroom support. This position requires technical skills, excellent customer service, and flexible scheduling.
Requirements
- Education: Associate's or Technical Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience: At least six (6) months of experience in technical support in an educational or business setting.
- Languages: Fluency in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.
- Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS.
- Experience configuring and managing printers and peripherals.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
