We are proud to announce Mama's Pizza is opening a second location in Brookhaven. We are on the lookout for friendly and attentive Food Servers who can multitask and has had a few years of exerience under their belt to join our vibrant restaurant team.
Shift hours -
Monday - Friday: 10:30am - 3:30pm, 3:30pm - 10:00pm
Saturday - 10:30am - 10pm ( split shift 10:30am - 3:30pm, 3:30pm - 10pm )
Sunday - 12 - 8.
In this role, you’ll be the face of our establishment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable dining experience through excellent service and hospitality. The ideal candidate is energetic, personable, and passionate about food and guest relations. You’ll handle everything from taking orders, Preparing salads, running food, cleaning tables, answering phones, taking ubereats orders, etc.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems .
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation meets quality standards.
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and proper food safety procedures to uphold health regulations.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with accuracy during shifts.
- Support other team members by bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and helping with food prep when needed.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest rapport and handle diverse situations professionally.
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Knowledge of food industry standards including food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques.
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and inventory management.
- Experience in serving, host/hostess roles, or bartending can be advantageous for this dynamic position. Join us as a Food Server where your enthusiasm for hospitality will shine!
