Are you a hospitality pro who’s passionate about wine, great food, and top-notch service—but over the late nights, ticket chaos, and restaurant burnout?
Welcome to your new favorite job.
At The New York Butcher Shoppe & Wine Bar, we’ve reimagined what working in hospitality can look like. We’re not just a butcher shop—we’re a full-on culinary destination. Our upscale shop features premium beef, pork, poultry, seafood, and gourmet grocery items, plus chef-prepared meals and an intimate wine bar where the experience is as curated as our meat case.
Here’s what makes this role special:
- No Liquor, No Late Nights – Just fine wine, craft beer, and a beautifully curated menu.
- Guests Can Pick Their Steak – Literally. Our guests select their cut from the butcher case and we’ll prepare it fresh for them to enjoy at the bar.
- Relaxed, Upscale Vibe – We offer a laid-back, no-reservations, first-come-first-serve setting that feels like your favorite neighborhood spot.
- Great Hours – We’re open 11am–8pm (Mon–Thurs), until 9pm (Fri–Sat), and Sundays from noon–6pm.
- Beautiful Patio – A perfect space for outdoor dining and sipping wine.
- Team-Oriented Culture – You’ll work side-by-side with fellow bartenders in a collaborative, low-stress environment.
Who We're Looking For:
- A wine-savvy bartender (or someone eager to learn) who loves helping guests explore our 100+ bottle wine list
- Someone passionate about hospitality and food who enjoys connecting with guests and building regulars
- A true team player who thrives in a shared service setup
- Experience with wine and beer pairings is a plus
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
This isn’t your typical restaurant job—it’s better. And these positions don’t open often.
