DayVentures by Elevate Spectrum is seeking an experienced, creative, and dependable Community Navigator to support small groups of adults with developmental disabilities as they participate in meaningful activities throughout the community.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys helping individuals build independence, social skills, confidence, and real-life skills through community experiences such as volunteering, recreation, fitness, arts, dining, museums, and local events.

Support small groups of adults with developmental disabilities in the community.

Turn community outings into meaningful skillbuilding experiences.

Encourage independence, decisionmaking, communication, social interaction, and community participation.

Plan and facilitate engaging activities based on participants’ interests and goals.

Research new activities, events, volunteer opportunities, and community resources.

Build relationships with local businesses and community organizations.
-
Provide safe transportation to activities when assigned.
-
Complete required documentation accurately and on time.

3 or more years of DSP/direct support experience strongly preferred.

Experience supporting adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Experience facilitating community outings or smallgroup activities preferred.

Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and reliable transportation.

Strong communication, organization, and problemsolving skills.

Ability to pass required background and drivingrecord checks.

Ability to complete required Maryland DDA training.

Dependable, creative, patient, and comfortable working independently in the community.

$23$25 per hour, based on experience.
