Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to join our team. In this vital role, you will provide personalized care and support to clients, assisting with daily activities, health monitoring, and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position offers flexible scheduling options, including full-time, part-time, evenings, weekends, and live-in opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and reporting changes promptly
- Support medication administration following prescribed guidelines while maintaining accurate medical documentation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, including those with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease
- Assist with mobility and transfers using patient transfer methods and equipment like Hoyer lifts or gait belts
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and home healthcare standards
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe environment
Requirements
- Valid Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification in the state of employment
- Experience working with geriatric patients, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring memory care or hospice support
- Knowledge of medical terminology, home health care regulations, and documentation procedures using EMR/EHR systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with patient transfers safely using appropriate equipment
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications; Basic Life Support (BLS) training preferred
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration
- Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home healthcare agencies is highly desirable

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
