Job Description
The International Special Operations Forces Integration and Assessment SME supports USSOCOM Engagement Branch by developing country plans, coordinating international engagement events, managing MOA/MOU actions, and assessing partner-nation initiatives. The role requires a relevant master’s degree, Foreign Service or Foreign Area Officer background, negotiation experience, 10+ years embassy or development experience, and current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Summary of Duties
Drafts and maintains country plans and agreements, coordinates international engagement events and negotiations, tracks staffing actions, aligns priorities, and assesses plan performance.
Duties
- Drafts and maintains country plans, roadmaps, MOAs, and MOUs.
- Coordinates staffing actions for international negotiations with partner nations.
- Aligns country plans with TSOC and headquarters priorities and objectives.
- Assesses and updates J3-I country plans quarterly and annually.
- Supports planning and coordination of international engagement events.
- Maintains databases of international agreements affecting exchange and liaison officers.
- Prepares approval packages for J3-I related international agreements.
