We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Education Teaching Assistant to join our team at Middlefork School. Responsibilities
- Assist the lead physical education teacher in planning and implementing engaging lesson plans and activities.
- Support students in developing physical skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship during PE classes.
- Monitor student progress and provide individual assistance as needed to help them achieve their physical fitness goals.
- Organize and supervise recreational activities, games, and sports events.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all students during physical activities.
- Help with the setup and cleanup of equipment and facilities before and after classes.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote health and wellness initiatives within the school.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of physical education.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Assist in maintaining records related to student participation and performance in physical education activities.
