Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality preventive and periodontal dental hygiene care
- Educate patients on oral health, home care, and treatment recommendations
- Take diagnostic radiographs and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Assist in creating a comfortable, positive patient experience
- Maintain compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols
- Work collaboratively with the doctor and team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Manage appointment flow efficiently while maintaining quality patient care
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and team members
- Be adaptable and mindful of the practice’s daily needs, including assisting the team when needed to support overall office success
- Maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
- Participate in continuing education and growth opportunities to support clinical excellence
- Help contribute to a supportive and uplifting workplace culture
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in good standing
- Current CPR certification
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Friendly, professional, and compassionate chairside manner
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality patient care
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and remain mindful of the needs of the practice and team
- Experience with periodontal therapy, digital radiographs, and electronic charting preferred
- Experience with Dentrix software preferred
- Commitment to professionalism, reliability, and patient-centered care
Pay: $41.00 - $43.00 per hour
