Job Responsibilities
As a Lawn Mowing Crew Member / Lawn Care Technician, your duties may include:
- Residential and commercial lawn mowing
- Basic lawn care and lawn maintenance
- String trimming / weed eating
- Edging sidewalks, driveways, and landscape beds
- Blowing grass clippings from walkways, patios, and driveways
- Spring cleanup and fall cleanup services
- Yard cleanup, leaf cleanup, and debris removal
- Loading and unloading lawn care equipment
- Operating mowing equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean and professional appearance on job sites
- Providing excellent customer service when interacting with clients
- Working as part of a mowing crew to complete daily routes
- Problem-solving in the field and communicating with crew leaders
Requirements
- Previous lawn care, landscaping, mowing, or grounds maintenance experience is preferred, but not required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be dependable, punctual, and ready to work
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Must be polite and professional when interacting with customers
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be able to perform physical labor, including walking, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Must be willing to follow safety procedures and company standards
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude required
Preferred Experience
Experience in any of the following is helpful, but not required:
- Lawn mowing
- Landscaping
- Lawn maintenance
- Grounds-keeping
- Property maintenance
- Weed trimming
- Edging
- Leaf cleanup
- Spring and fall cleanups
- Outdoor labor
