Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons
- Foster children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning
- Integrate Catholic values and faith into daily classroom experiences
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
- Support and supervise children's independence, curiosity, creativity, and readiness for Kindergarten
- Collaborate with fellow teacher and school leadership to support student success
- Build positive relationships and communicate with classroom families
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience working in early childhood education
- Demonstrate a commitment to the Catholic mission of the school
- Creates a positive, respectful, and nurturing atmosphere for children, families, and colleagues
- Strong communication and organization skills
