BarnTools is looking for a Marketing Manager to lead go-to-market and communications initiatives across our growing product portfolio.
This role sits at the intersection of marketing, sales, customer success, product, and company leadership. You will translate BarnTools’ products, customer results, and company priorities into launches, campaigns, sales tools, customer stories, and communications that support pipeline growth, customer adoption, account expansion, and market awareness.
This is a hands-on role. You will write content, develop messaging, build campaigns, support product launches, create sales materials, capture customer stories, manage external partners, and keep cross-functional initiatives moving.
The right person is a strong B2B marketer and communicator who can understand a technical product, identify the clearest customer value, and turn complex information into compelling, credible marketing.

Develop go-to-market plans for new products, capabilities, partnerships, and company initiatives.

Create positioning, messaging, value propositions, and campaign strategies for growers, dealers, integrators, and enterprise customers.

Lead the marketing workstream for launches, including messaging, web content, sales materials, customer communications, campaign assets, and internal enablement.

Partner with product, sales, and customer success to ensure marketing reflects customer needs, product capabilities, and business priorities.

Translate technical features into clear operational and business value.

Develop high-quality content including customer stories, case studies, articles, white papers, videos, landing pages, presentations, email campaigns, and educational materials.

Build a repeatable process for capturing customer results, testimonials, deployment stories, and field content.

Develop executive communications and thought-leadership content for BarnTools leaders and subject-matter experts.

Support public relations through story development, company announcements, press materials, media briefs, spokesperson preparation, and customer references.

Maintain a clear and consistent company narrative across marketing, sales, customer, and media communications.

Manage BarnTools’ organic social presence and ensure content reflects the company’s priorities and brand voice.

Create presentations, one-pagers, customer proof, competitive materials, and other resources that help sales teams generate pipeline and advance opportunities.

Develop audience-specific materials for growers, dealers, integrators, enterprise operators, and executive buying committees.

Partner with sales and customer success to support customer adoption, cross-sell, upsell, renewal, and account expansion.

Turn common customer questions, sales objections, and product use cases into useful marketing and enablement content.

Help ensure sales and customer-facing teams are prepared to communicate new products, capabilities, and company initiatives.

Build integrated campaigns across email, web, content, paid media, social media, and events.

Partner with external paid media specialists to guide campaign messaging, creative development, audience strategy, and lead quality.

Support customer events, industry trade shows, product demonstrations, and field visits.

Coordinate campaign assets, timelines, audiences, follow-up programs, and performance measurement.

Identify opportunities to extend the value of customer stories, launches, events, and company milestones across multiple channels.

Manage agencies, contractors, designers, writers, video partners, freelancers, and other external contributors.

Develop clear creative briefs, project plans, timelines, and feedback processes.

Maintain marketing calendars, launch plans, campaign workflows, and cross-functional communication.

Bring greater structure and predictability to marketing execution as BarnTools grows.

Define program KPIs, analyze results, and communicate marketing impact to company leadership.

Use performance data and customer feedback to improve future campaigns and programs.

Product launches and major company initiatives have clear messaging, coordinated plans, and strong cross-functional support.

The Head of Marketing has a trusted partner who can independently lead important work from strategy through execution.

Have 7 or more years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in SaaS, IoT, connected hardware, industrial technology, data infrastructure, or another technical product environment.

Have experience developing and executing go-to-market plans, product launches, campaigns, or company communications.

Are an exceptional writer and editor who can make technical and operational topics clear and compelling.

Have personally created customer stories, sales materials, web content, campaigns, presentations, and executive communications.

Understand how marketing supports complex sales involving multiple stakeholders and longer buying cycles.

Are comfortable working with customers, executives, salespeople, engineers, product leaders, agencies, and creative partners.

Can identify the strongest story within a large amount of technical, incomplete, or unstructured information.

Experience producing field-based customer content, including photography and video.

Familiarity with HubSpot, content management systems, marketing automation, paid media, and performance reporting.
