Our client, a manufacturer in Lancaster, MA, is looking to hire a Material Handler for their location. The ideal candidate will need 1 to 2 years of relevant experience for this position. Responsibilities include selecting outgoing items from stock as requested by manufacturing and delivering them to the appropriate department.
The Day-to-Day:
- Participates in daily cycle counts and provides accurate inventory counts.
- Stores incoming materials from receiving and production in proper bin locations.
- Selects and prepares items from stock for shipments to customers.
- Document inventory transactions accurately using proper inventory documents.
- Inspects equipment used daily to ensure proper and safe functioning.
- Loads and unloads trailers as required for receiving shipping or transfers.
- Updates the inventory in the database as required by the Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- A valid Driver’s License is a MUST
- Basic math with computer skills
- Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50lbs.
- 1 to 2 of relative experience
Pay Rate/Shifts:
- $18.00 to $19.00 /hr
- Monday to Friday
- 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
