A well-established Pacific Northwest law firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate & Finance Paralegal (5279) to join its growing transactional practice. This newly created position will support a busy team handling sophisticated commercial real estate finance matters. The ideal candidate will enjoy managing transactions from document preparation through closing and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Draft, revise, and maintain commercial loan documents and lender forms
- Prepare initial drafts of loan documentation and update documents as transaction terms evolve
- Perform litigation, bankruptcy, and UCC searches in support of real estate finance transactions
- Prepare and file UCC financing statements and related documents
- Coordinate all aspects of transaction closings, including preparation and organization of closing documents
- Review executed documents to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to closing
- Distribute fully executed loan documents to lenders following closing
- Organize and maintain due diligence files and transaction records
- Assist attorneys with title and survey review
- Maintain organized electronic files and document management systems
- Manage multiple transactions simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Provide additional transactional support as needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting a high-volume real estate finance or transactional legal practice
- Experience with commercial lending transactions, loan documentation, and closings
- Experience reviewing title and survey materials
- Knowledge of UCC filings and related transactional processes
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Word (Styles) and Adobe PDF applications
- Experience using document management systems preferred
- Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage multiple transactions efficiently
- Willingness to work occasional overtime as needed
