Coppersmith Recruitment and Services Inc. is hiring a Cleaner / Waste Operative to work at a large warehouse facility in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
This is a long-term opportunity with consistent hours, full training provided, and the potential to become permanent after a successful probation period.
Job Description
As a Warehouse Cleaner / Waste Operative, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary warehouse environment. You will be working as part of an on-site cleaning team and may also work independently at times.
Duties include:
- General warehouse cleaning
- Restroom and washroom cleaning
- Office and breakroom/canteen cleaning
- Sweeping and vacuuming warehouse and office areas
- Breaking down cardboard and recycling
- Removing waste and changing trash bins
- General sanitation and cleaning tasks
- Responding to cleaning requests as needed
- Following all safety and site procedures
Requirements
- Ability to reliably commute to the site (on-site parking available)
- Cleaning or warehouse experience preferred but not required
- Must have your own safety-toe or composite work boots
- Basic English communication skills
- Clean criminal background
- Physically able to walk and work throughout a large warehouse
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
