Position Overview
We are seeking a visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. Serving as a key strategic partner, the CFO will drive organizational growth and help execute our long-term vision by overseeing accounting, finance, and payroll operations.
This executive leadership role requires a high-caliber finance administrator who can seamlessly balance strategic direction with operational excellence across treasury, budgeting, accounts payable, and system management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)
- Financial Oversight & Controls: Establish, implement, and maintain robust internal accounting systems, controls, and procedures. Coordinate and manage the annual external audit process to validate fiscal integrity.
- Payroll & Systems Administration: Oversee the implementation and optimization of integrated payroll platforms to ensure seamless execution, accuracy, and reporting.
- Reporting & Budgetary Guidance: Provide timely, accurate financial analysis to inform management decisions. Develop, roll out, and maintain organizational budgeting tools to drive cost controls and strategic planning.
- Treasury & Liquidity Management: Design and maintain treasury management controls to safeguard assets, manage cash flow, and secure adequate liquid resources across diverse funding channels.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead long-term budgetary modeling, variance analysis, and key performance metric tracking to support organizational sustainability.
- Regulatory Compliance & Governance: Direct the preparation and accurate filing of financial disclosures and compliance reporting to federal, state, and local agencies—including the IRS, Department of Labor, HUD, USDA, Social Security Administration, and state/local tax authorities.

Education & Credentials
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with an Accounting concentration.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in a related field.
- Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
Knowledge & Experience
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience, with proven success in executive or senior leadership roles.
- Financial Governance & GAAP: Deep expertise in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial controls, and auditing standards to ensure organizational fiscal integrity.
- Systems & Enterprise Architecture: In-depth knowledge of financial, payroll, and HRIS enterprise tools, with a track record of leveraging technology to streamline operations.
- Process Optimization & Scale: Proven experience planning and executing systemic, cross-functional changes that enhance operational productivity, reporting speed, and organizational capacity.
- Regulatory & Legal Compliance: Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory mandates to safeguard organizational assets and maintain data, financial, and informational integrity.
Pay: $115,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
