Sales & Design Consultant
Job Description:
Full time in-person position located in midtown New York City to assist in sales. We specialize in custom design engagement rings and wedding bands, and we work closely with clients to guide them through the purchase process. You will be responsible for working with customers from the beginning to end of the sales journey - from figuring out what they want, to keeping detailed notes, helping with design ideas, closing the sale, and offering couples counseling from time to time : ).

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who has exceptional people skills and possesses the ability to wear multiple hats in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for all clients; greet each person professionally and warmly
- Working with clients through the sales / design journey
- Delivering exceptional and memorable in-store / remote experiences for clients
- Setting and/or closing up each day and maintaining an inviting showroom space
- Client communications via email, phone, Zoom, or live chat
- Carry out client service needs such as payment processing, appointment scheduling, pick up/drop off, invoice and shipping label generation, and fulfilling service and return requests
- Develop extensive engagement ring, jewelry, and design technical expertise
- Other duties as required
Qualifications & Requirements:
- College graduate
- Patience - lots of it!
- Self starter with strong work ethic and energetic personality
- Integral & accountable personality that follows through with their word
- Some sales experience is required
- Jewelry and diamond knowledge preferred
- Interest in fashion & retail
- Attention to detail
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and high level of emotional intelligence
- Customer obsessed; helpful, warm, meticulous, & service - orientated
- Excellent written and oral communication, and great organizational skills
- Creative mindset
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a fast pace environment
