Position Type: Part-Time (Approx. 30 hours/week)
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday

The Role:
Are you a reliable self-starter who thrives in a bustling retail environment? We are seeking a Weekend Retail Lead to take ownership of our shop during our busiest days of the week. In this role, you won't just be standing behind a counter; you will be the driving force behind our weekend operations, managing team members, keeping the floor beautiful, and ensuring every customer has a wonderful experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership & Management: Act as the main point of contact on weekends, managing and supporting other weekend employees.
* Scheduling: Ownership of creating and managing the store’s employee schedule.
* Sales & Service: Greet neighbors, assist customers in finding the perfect gifts, and ring up sales with a warm, friendly attitude.
* Inventory Upkeep: Unpack, price, and merchandise new inventory to keep the sales floor looking fresh and inviting.
* Daily Operations: Open and close the shop securely, manage daily cash drops, and maintain store cleanliness.
* Qualifications & Physical Requirements
* Retail Experience: Previous retail experience is required. Experience in a specialty gift, boutique, or card shop setting is a major plus!
* Availability: Absolute willingness and ability to work Friday through Monday.
* Tech Savvy: Direct experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems. Preference will be given to candidates with Square for Retail experience.
* Leadership Traits: A proven track record of being a self-starter who can take initiative without constant supervision.
* Physical Ability: Must be able to comfortably stand and move about the shop for up to 8 hours a day, and safely lift/move boxes up to 30 lbs.
* Community Minded: You genuinely enjoy interacting with people and love the vibe of a locally owned neighborhood shop.
* Must be over 21
* This is not a seasonal or summer position
