Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Handle food preparation tasks, including assembling sandwiches, pastries, and light snacks in accordance with food safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling stations and seating areas
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cash register operations and balancing at shift end
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for smooth transaction processing
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service with a positive attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totaling
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and interact professionally with customers
