About Community Construction Services
Community Construction Services, LLC is a veteran-owned and operated general contracting company serving Southeast Louisiana. We specialize in residential construction, roofing, remodeling, repairs, restoration, and other construction services.
We are a growing company built around professionalism, accountability, communication, and taking care of our customers. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a motivated Project Manager who wants the opportunity to build a career, control their income, and grow with the company.
This is not a traditional desk-based project management position. Our Project Managers are involved from the initial customer appointment through estimating, sales, project coordination, and completion. The right person will be comfortable working with homeowners, subcontractors, vendors, and our internal team while taking ownership of their projects.
Position Overview
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing assigned leads and projects from the initial appointment through project completion.
This is a 100% commission-based position with significant earning potential. A motivated Project Manager can realistically work toward earning up to $100,000+ per year, depending on sales volume, project performance, and individual effort.
Unlike many commission-only positions where you are responsible for generating every opportunity yourself, Community Construction Services will provide around 8 company-generated leads per month.
Additional self-generated business and networking are strongly encouraged and can significantly increase earning potential.
Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Contacting and following up with company-provided leads
- Scheduling and running customer appointments
- Meeting homeowners and evaluating their construction needs
- Performing initial project inspections and gathering measurements, photos, and project information
- Working with the estimating team to develop accurate project estimates
- Presenting proposals and explaining project scopes to customers
- Following up on outstanding estimates and proposals
- Converting qualified opportunities into contracted projects
- Maintaining consistent communication with customers throughout the project
- Coordinating project details with company management, office staff, subcontractors, and vendors
- Reviewing project scopes before construction begins
- Helping coordinate material selections, scheduling, and project requirements
- Visiting active job sites and monitoring project progress
- Ensuring subcontractors understand the approved scope of work
- Identifying potential change orders or additional work
- Documenting job progress with photographs, notes, and project updates
- Helping resolve field issues before they become larger problems
- Maintaining professional relationships with homeowners
- Conducting final project walkthroughs when required
- Ensuring punch-list items are identified and completed
- Helping collect final documentation and payments
- Developing referral relationships with homeowners, real estate professionals, insurance professionals, property managers, and other industry contacts
- Representing Community Construction Services professionally in the field and community
What We Are Looking For
Construction experience is beneficial, but we are primarily looking for someone who is dependable, motivated, organized, professional, and willing to learn.
The ideal candidate should:
- Have strong communication and people skills
- Be comfortable meeting and speaking with homeowners
- Be self-motivated and able to work independently
- Be organized and capable of managing multiple projects
- Follow through on commitments
- Be comfortable working in both sales and construction environments
- Have basic computer and smartphone skills
- Be willing to learn estimating, construction processes, and project management systems
- Be comfortable working in a performance-based compensation environment
- Have reliable transportation
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Be willing to occasionally work outside normal business hours when a customer or project requires it
Previous experience in construction, roofing, remodeling, project management, sales, insurance restoration, real estate, or customer service is a plus.
Why Work With Us? Strong Earning Potential
This position offers the ability to earn up to $100,000+ annually for someone who consistently works their leads, closes projects, manages customers well, and develops additional business.
Your income is performance-based, meaning your earning potential is not restricted by a traditional hourly wage.
Flexible Schedule
We care about results, communication, and taking care of our customers—not having someone sitting behind a desk from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Project Managers have significant flexibility in managing their schedules around appointments, projects, and customer needs.
Company-Provided Leads
Starting a commission position without opportunities can be difficult.
That's why we provide our Project Managers with around 8 company-generated leads per month.
These opportunities give you a foundation to build from while allowing motivated individuals to generate additional business through referrals, networking, and personal relationships.
Room for Advancement
We are a growing company, and we want people who are interested in growing with us.
As the company expands, opportunities may become available for increased responsibility, leadership, sales management, operations management, and other positions within the organization.
We would rather develop and promote proven people from within whenever possible.
Veteran-Owned & Operated
Community Construction Services is proudly veteran-owned and operated.
We understand the value of leadership, accountability, teamwork, adaptability, and mission-focused thinking.
Excellent Opportunity for Veterans
We strongly encourage veterans to apply.
The flexible schedule, performance-based compensation, independence, and field-oriented nature of this position can make it an excellent opportunity for veterans, including disabled veterans seeking a career that offers greater flexibility than a traditional fixed-schedule position.
Military experience often develops many of the skills that translate directly into this role, including leadership, communication, problem-solving, accountability, planning, and working under pressure.
Veteran status or disability is not required for this position. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
Compensation
100% Commission-Based
This position does not have a traditional hourly wage or salary.
Compensation is directly tied to successfully sold and completed projects, creating substantial upside for motivated individuals.
Potential annual earnings: Up to $100,000+
Actual earnings will vary based on individual performance, closing percentage, project volume, project size, company-generated opportunities, self-generated business, and other factors.
Minimum Company-Provided Leads: 10 per month
What Success Looks Like
The person who succeeds in this position will not simply wait for leads to come in.
They will answer the phone, follow up consistently, build relationships, communicate with customers, learn construction, understand their projects, solve problems, ask for the sale, ask for referrals, and take ownership of their results.
We are looking for someone who wants the freedom and earning potential of a commission-based position while having the support and opportunities of an established construction company behind them.
Build a Career With Us
Community Construction Services is continuing to grow, and we are looking for people who want to grow with it.
