We are seeking a seasoned dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead construction projects from inception through completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee project planning, execution, and coordination within a fast-paced construction environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering projects on time, within scope, and with the highest standards of quality.
What You will Do (Responsibilities) As an Industrial Services Project Manager, you hold total accountability for the safety, budget, schedule, and quality of your projects, while driving business growth to expand our customer portfolio.
- Lead with Safety: Foster a zero-incident culture and ensure strict compliance with OSHA, corporate, and client HSE standards.
- Project Planning & Execution: Define scope, manage critical paths during high-pressure plant turnarounds/outages, and oversee the full project lifecycle from quotes, kick off and close-outs.
- Business Development & Growth: Actively grow the territory through initiative-taking client engagement, site visits, and identifying new service opportunities.
- Financial Management: Own the project P&L by estimating costs accurately, tracking expenses, and managing change orders to protect profit margins.
- Team & Subcontractor Coordination: Direct and schedule multidisciplinary field teams, subcontractors, and equipment to maximize productivity.
- Client Interface: Serve as the primary contact for plant managers, providing transparent progress reporting and cultivating strong, long-term relationships.
What We are Looking For (Qualifications) Required:
- Experience: 5+ years of PM or supervisory experience in industrial services, heavy construction, or mechanical contracting.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of industrial processes, plant operations, and maintenance.
- Leadership & Growth: Proven ability to lead field teams, negotiate with subcontractors, and engage clients to win new business.
- Travel & Flexibility: Ability to travel, work flexible hours during outages/turnarounds, and work independently.
Preferred: Education: Bachelor’s degree Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) and/or OSHA 30-Hour certification.
