We are seeking a passionate and experienced BJJ, Muay Thai, or Wrestling Coach to join our dynamic martial arts and fitness team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for instructing students of various ages and skill levels in martial arts disciplines, fostering a safe and motivating environment. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging coaching sessions in BJJ, Boxing, Muay Thai, or Wrestling tailored to students’ skill levels
- Teach proper techniques, safety protocols, and effective training methods
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance
- Manage class behavior and maintain a positive, disciplined environment
- Develop customized training plans for individual students or groups
- Ensure all safety guidelines are followed during training sessions
- Assist in organizing competitions or events as needed
- Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages student growth and confidence
Requirements
- Proven experience in martial arts disciplines such as BJJ, Muay Thai, Wrestling, or related sports coaching experience
- Strong background in teaching physical education or working with students of various ages is a plus
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to maintain discipline during classes
- Experience working with children or in childcare settings is a plus
- Skills in sports coaching, teaching, and motivating students of diverse backgrounds
- Familiarity with health club or gym environments is desirable
- Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities and excellent communication skills
- Certifications related to martial arts instruction or coaching are preferred but not mandatory
- Passion for promoting physical fitness and personal development through martial arts training
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
