Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Physical Therapy Aide with strong anatomy knowledge to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will support licensed physical therapists by assisting with patient care, preparing treatment areas, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists in carrying out exercises, keeping patients safe and supported throughout
- Apply real anatomy and physiology knowledge to guide patients through exercises correctly
- Communicate clearly with patients and staff, including in Spanish when needed
- Keep treatment areas and equipment clean, organized, and ready to go
- Communicate effectively with patients to provide instructions, encouragement, and reassurance throughout therapy sessions
- Help maintain a safe environment by adhering to office protocols related to safety procedures
Skills
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology essential for supporting rehabilitation efforts
- Proven experience practicing in a physical therapy or healthcare role, preferably within
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse patient populations including geriatrics and orthopedics
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to physical therapy
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while assisting patients during transfers or exercises
- Knowledge of CPR certification is highly desirable
- Experience with outpatient environments demonstrating adaptability in fast-paced settings
- Either prior PT aide experience or solid anatomy knowledge combined with exercise/fitness experience (see above)

Pay: $17.50 - $21.00 per hour
