Job Duties
- Track fabrication job progress to ensure on-time completion and meet production schedules
- Coordinate workflow across departments and prioritize jobs based on deadlines and urgency
- Expedite materials, parts, and work orders to prevent delays and resolve production bottlenecks
- Communicate job status updates and collaborate with teams to maintain smooth operations
- Monitor availability of materials, tools, and equipment while assisting with shortages and inventory needs
- Update ERP systems and maintain accurate production records and job tracking documentation
- Support shipping, receiving, and quality control to ensure timely delivery and specification compliance
Requirements
- Experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment is required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings is required
- Knowledge of metal types and grades is required
- Prior supervisory or lead experience is required
- Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills with ability to update systems and production records
