Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Duties
- Operate sewing machines efficiently to assemble garments according to design specifications and patterns
- Operate emborioidery machines efficiently to provide quality embellishments on garments according to design specifications and patterns
- Perform garment construction tasks including stitching, hemming, fitting, and finishing details with accuracy
- Inspect finished products for quality control, identifying and correcting defects or inconsistencies
- Follow detailed instructions and technical drawings to ensure precise assembly of each piece
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Assist in inventory management by organizing fabrics, patterns, and sewing supplies within the warehouse or manufacturing area
- Assist staff with data management, research and product recomendations as needed
- Take measurements of customers for custom fitted garments and armor.
- Paid training is available for embroidery, digitizing and armor measuring as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in garment construction or sewing, with a strong understanding of sewing machine operation
- Proficiency in sewing techniques including hand stitching and machine sewing for various fabrics
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to apparel production and warehouse operations
- Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity and steady hand-eye coordination
- Reliable attendance and the ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
- Williness to attend embriodery, digitizing and other training as it pertains to job specific needs.
We are seeking either 1 full time seamstress, or 2 part time seamstress's.
