Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our wire and RF cable manufacturing team. The Machine Operator will set up, operate, and maintain wire- and cable-processing equipment while ensuring products meet required specifications and quality standards.
The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up, calibrate, and operate wire- and RF cable-manufacturing equipment.
- Follow work orders, production instructions, drawings, and product specifications.
- Load wire, cable, connectors, and other materials into production equipment.
- Adjust machine settings to meet product and production requirements.
- Monitor production processes for accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
- Inspect finished products to verify dimensions, appearance, and workmanship.
- Use calipers and other measuring or testing tools accurately.
- Identify defects, equipment problems, and process issues, making adjustments when appropriate.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs.
- Move and organize materials using forklifts or other material-handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate production, inspection, machine-usage, and maintenance records.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with company safety procedures.
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous machine-operating experience, preferably in wire, cable, electronics, or a related manufacturing environment.
- At least one year of experience with basic manufacturing math, material handling, tooling, and self-directed work.
- Working knowledge of machine setup, operation, and routine maintenance.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, and product specifications.
- Ability to use calipers and other measuring tools accurately.
- Experience with tooling used in wire or cable production.
- Experience operating forklifts or similar material-handling equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
- Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required by the position.
- Ability to work safely around production machinery and equipment.
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
