Are you a Line Cook seeking to join a team of fine-dining hospitality professionals? Do you desire to work in an upbeat and professional kitchen? Then we would like to offer you the opportunity to apply for our Line Cook opening today!
- Location: Aurora Italiana 6199 Orchard Lake Rd, West Bloomfield, MI 48223
- Hours: 5 days per week, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, 40 hours per week
- Position: Grill or Sauté Line Cook
- Pay: $24-$26 per hour
- Start date: Upon Hire
If you have:
- Familiarity working with Pasta, Butchering, and Italian Cuisine
- At least 2 years of experience operating as a line cook (fine-dining preferred)
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation procedures
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required; commitment to 40 hours per week
- Familiarity with major allergens and substitutions
- English language skills
And you can:
- Reliably commute to West Bloomfield
- Assist the Executive Chef with daily tasks
- Prepare food for service (e.g. handmade pasta, butchering, chopping vegetables, or preparing sauces)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Stay organized and understand order of operation
- Be a positive and professional addition to the team
- Help banquets prep or plate food
- Stock stations & inventory
